When working with annotations you can:
Open the required source or node—its contents are displayed in Detail View.
On the Edit menu, click Find.
The Find Content dialog box is displayed.
In the Text drop-down list, enter the text you want to search for. If required, you can select previous search text from the list. Click the Special button to search for a special character.
Select Annotations from the Look in drop-down list.
OR
Select Annotations and Text to include the source content in the search.
From the Search drop-down list, select the required search direction

Click the Match case checkbox to find the exact combination of upper and lower case letters.
Click the Findwhole word checkbox if you want to find only the occurrences of the complete word that you entered in the Find field. For example, if you search for stick the words tick and sticky will not be found.
Click Find Next.

On the Edit menu, click Replace.
The Replace Content dialog box is displayed.
In the Find What panel, enter the text you want to find.
In the Replace With panel, enter the replacement text.
Select Annotations from the Look in drop-down list.
From the Search drop-down list, select the required search direction

Copy and paste annotation text
Open the required source or node—its contents are displayed in Detail View.
In the Annotation tab, select the required text.
Right-click and select Copy.
Place the cursor in the destination location.
Right-click and select Paste.
Insert the date in an annotation
Open the required source or node—its contents are displayed in Detail View.
Position the cursor in the required location.
On the Format menu, click Insert.
Click the Date/Time option. Refer to Setting Application Options for information about setting the date and time format.
