Copying Queries

You can copy a query within its own folder (a number is appended to the name) or into other query folders. This can save time when you create a new query with similar criteria to an existing query.

To copy an existing query:

  1. In Navigation View, click the Queries button.

  2. In List View, click the required query.

  3. On the Edit menu click Copy.

  4. Click the destination query folder.

  5. On the Edit menu, click Paste.

Copy and Paste toolbar buttons:

  1. In List View, click the required query.

  2. Click the Copy button:

  1. Select the destination folder.

  2. Click the Paste button.

Right-click:

  1. In List View, right-click the required query.

  2. Click the Copy option.

  3. Right-click the destination folder.

  4. Click the Paste option.
